Reading is one of my favorite hobbies. I am always fascinated with books at an early age. My parents would always buy me a story book every time they travel or go to bookstores. Books are my best companions whenever I’m bored, sad, inspired, or whatever I’m feeling in a certain situation. Believe it or not, I don’t leave the house without a book in my bag. Yes, I am a voracious reader and that’s a fact. Even as I get older I can’t imagine myself not having my own list of favorite books/novels.
I want to share you my favorite children’s books since I was a kid. Even now, I still read these books and whenever I do that I feel nostalgic. Here’s a list of best children books that I believe every kid should read:
1. Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland is written by Lewis Carroll.
“If you don’t know where you are going any road can take you there”
― Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland
2. The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery

― Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
3. The Lorax by Dr. Seuss

― Dr. Seuss, The Lorax
4. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl.
“Mr. Wonka: “Don’t forget what happened to the man who suddenly got everything he wanted.”

5. Stuart Little by E.B. White

Love is in the air during the month of February for lovers and single people. I do believe that Valentine’s day is not only for lovers. It is for everyone who wants to share their love with their family, friends, and colleagues. Are you excited to celebrate Valentines day? What are your plans? What kind of gift ideas you have in mind for your loved ones?
Valentines day is a very special day for me not only because I have a special someone in my life. This day reminds me to do something special and romantic for the people I loved. Believe it or not, but during this season I hate spending too much money for gifts. So what I do is I think of sweet and unique gift ideas that don’t need to spend a dime.
1. Write a love letter or note in pillows
2. Paper Chandelier with the photos of your loved ones
3. DIY love letters never fail
4. A simple frame like this is also a romantic idea. Don’t you think?
5. Want some coffee? This will complete your day.
6. Don’t give your love a box of chocolates, give her a bouquet of chocolates :)
7. Paper flowers is the latest trend.
A prolonged exposure to high stress level is bad to our health. Even though we don’t like to feel stressed we cannot avoid it. Stress is everywhere and it depends on you how you will able to manage it.
Stress never leaves me especially in my work. There’s not tome of the day that I feel burdened and exhausted by stress. As much as I want to fight it, I don’t know how. I feel lost. There are also times that I just want to quit and let stress, sadness, and depression succumb me. But then, a little voice just whispered into my ears – “Don’t lose hope, there’s always a solution to a problem”.
If you’re in the most stressful situation in your life right now, I advised you to do these stress-busting tips:
AVOID PEOPLE WHO STRESS YOU OUT
TAKE CONTROL OF EVERYTHING
TIME MANAGEMENT IS THE KEY
FOCUS ON THE POSITIVE
HAVE TIME FOR YOURSELF
WORK SMARTER NOT HARDER
Congratulations for getting your first job! Good job my friend you are now an employed citizen. But wait, are you sure with what you’ve applied for? Do you really like that kind of work? or did you accept it just because you need some money to pay for your daily expenses?
Many of us, particularly fresh graduates, want to find a job that will compensate us well. It is not easy to find a job that offers good benefits and high salary. In the difficult job market, a college diploma is not enough to get the dream position that you like in a company. There are so many things to consider and marketable skills that need to hone before you get promoted and acquire the best benefits that your company can offer you. Don’t lose hope if you are still in an entry-level position or you haven’t received any job offers at this moment from the industries you’ve applied for but instead keep working and strive harder. Why? Because…
To inspire you to give your best in your career, here are some motivational career thoughts from famous and successful people:
There’s a lot of things that I am thankful for. Year 2013 is a roller coaster year for me because there’s a lot of up’s and down’s in my life. Although, I have encountered hardships in my life I am still grateful for everything that has happened to me. Life is unfair. We never get all the things that we want. However, we always learn new things in every obstacle that we meet.
Here are the things that I am thankful for:
* A complete family – To have a complete family despite of so many troubles, sickness, and problems is truly a great blessing.
* Friends – These people never leave me through thick and thin. They are always there especially when I needed them the most. Finding true friends is really a precious gift.
* College education – For me one of the great accomplishments that I have done is to complete my college education.
* Good career – After learning and completing my degree, getting a job after graduation is another blessing in my life.
With all of these things, I can say that I am blessed and there are so many things to be thankful for.
I am fond of collecting quotes from books that I have read. When a particular quote strikes me while I’m reading a book, I take note of them and read it over and over. I guess I am not the only one who do this. Many readers out there loves writing down quotes because it inspires them and motivate them to do well in their writing.
Here are some writing quotes from my favorite authors/ writers that really made an impact to my writing journey:
Everyone of us has our own dream destinations. For a traveler like me, the list is too long and I don’t know if I can able to step my foot in each place that I want to go. I dream a lot. And there are so many places that I want to go to. Here are just some:
Santorini in Greece
Paris, the capital of France and the heart-throb of Europe
SIPADAN- The jewel in the crown of diving in Malaysia
Japan’s Cherry Blossom Festival
TOKYO DISNEY SEA Night View
Christmas is my favorite season of the year. There are so many things to love on this day. When we say Christams it is when Santa is coming to town, (just kidding) I mean it is the day that Baby Jesus was born. Yes, I still believe that it is the true essence of Christmas. Most people celebrate on this day because it is baby Jesus birthday, Yey! . Well, aside from that fact, other more things that I love about Christmas time are:
A great time with my family.
Decorating the house with beautiful lights, parole, and Christmas tree :)
Christmas sale!!! woohooo!
Gifts! More gifts!!!!
And more food!
